Sources: Bundesliga duo plot January moves for West Brom star Tom Fellows

West Brom youngster Tom Fellows is a target for Bundesliga duo Werder Bremen and Augsburg, sources have told Football Insider.

The 20-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and foreign clubs such as Werder Bremen and Augsburg are weighing up moves for the midfielder – who could sign a pre-contract deal in January.

Several English clubs are also interested in Fellows as they look to lure the talented attacker away from West Brom.

West Brom

Fellows, who has come through the ranks at The Hawthorns, has made seven first-team appearances this season and West Brom are keen to tie him down to a new deal.

He has yet to start for the Baggies this season but has featured as a substitute in the last six Championship games – including in Saturday’s (11 November) away loss at Southampton.

The midfielder broke through initially in the 2021-22 campaign but has not been a settled member of the first team until now.

Fellows spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan at League Two Crawley Town.

He made 40 appearances across all competitions for the Sussex outfit and displayed his impressive versatility in that spell.

The 20-year-old played in defence, in various midfield roles and even as a striker as Crawley survived relegation from the EFL.

Fellows joined West Brom at the Under-10’s level and is one of several academy products to make an impression in the first team.

Goalkeeper Alex Palmer came through the ranks at The Hawthorns while on-loan Bristol City star Taylor Gardner-Hickman is also a product of the youth system.

West Brom

West Brom sit seventh in the Championship following their loss against Southampton.

They are next in action against second-place Ipswich Town on 25 November.
